Job Summary

We are looking to fill a full-time role to provide support to system and software development team. The candidate will perform a range of activities that will provide support to the development team on day-to-day basis.

 Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Provide 1st line support and query resolution / or escalation for system queries
  2. Creating and collating system support documentation
  3. Quality assurance and system testing
  4. Preparing system specifications
  5. Data analysis and reporting

The above list is not exhaustive and additional / alternative tasks may be required from time to time as directed.

Person Specification:

Qualifications

Essential

  • 3 A-Levels including Computing
  • 5 GCSE’s

Desirable

  • 3rd level qualification in computer sciences or related subject

 

Experience

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an IT environment working with SQL data bases

 

Special Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Knowledge of computer programming languages including .Net
  • Knowledge of SQL data bases and query writing

Desirable

  • Use of Microsoft Power BI
