Spreading Festive Cheer With Christmas Initiatives
27th, Feb 2025

Over the festive period, members of the Kingsbridge Healthcare Group came together to raise funds with Jolly Jumper Day and joining in on some fun by helping with decorations.
Members of the Kingsbridge Foundation were delighted to help Harry's Help decorate Bohill Care Home in Coleraine and Pond Park Care Home in Lisburn for Christmas! Harry’s Help are a charity that seeks to enhance the lives of Northern Ireland’s Care Home residents by providing grants for recreational activities. The charity was established in memory of Harry Arbuthnot who lived in three Care Homes following his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia at the age of 66. His family saw first-hand the benefits of stimulating activities in the homes and the charity seeks to provide more opportunities for recreation for Care Home residents throughout NI. The Christmas fun was also in full swing at Kingsbridge North West with employees getting involved and wearing their festive knits and scrubs yesterday for Jolly Jumper Day, supporting Children's Heartbeat Trust
Christmas is the most amazing and magical time of the year, but some families can find it difficult to buy presents for their children.
This Christmas, staff from across the Group worked together to help make Christmas wishes come true! Joined by Santa himself, Kingsbridge North West had the pleasure of donating their gifts to the Limavady Community Development Initiative - LCDI toy drive
Employees across our Belfast sites were also delighted to support the Wishing Tree and Good Claus Appeals through Kinship Care Northern Ireland and came together to donate their gifts this morning to help make children's Christmas wishes comes true!
It was such a magical day on Saturday 22nd December as we welcomed staff and their families to our Festive Fun Day. We want to say a massive thank you to all who got involved from our range of amazing stalls selling goodies and fun activities for the kids. We also had entertainment from Parky the Magician, alongside tractors on site, face painters, a petting zoo and a DJ who kept the Christmas tunes flowing! Santa Claus arrived on his sleigh to greet everyone and is now away back to the North Pole with Mrs Claus and his elves to get ready for delivering everyone's presents in time for Christmas! We are delighted to announce that an amazing total of £1,248 was raised for the Kingsbridge Foundation. Well done everyone!
Kingsbridge Sligo employees Keelan Dunleevy and Shannon Luby also raised thousands for Youth Suicide Prevention & Prostate Cancer. Colleagues showed their support by generously donating their Christmas party deposits and proceeds raised at their Festive Fun Day on Thursday 19th December, with the Kingsbridge Foundation also matching both amounts. Amazing work guys - you’re a real inspiration to us all.
